The Day of Pentecost: Advocacy In The Upper Room

May 24, 2026    Pastor Jacob Sandholm

Today in our message, “Pentecost: Advocacy in the Upper Room,” we studied Acts 2:1–4 and explored the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the believers in the Upper Room. We looked at the history and significance of Pentecost, recognizing it not only as a historic event, but as the beginning of a Spirit-empowered movement that continues today. Through the coming of the Holy Spirit, God equipped His people to boldly proclaim the Gospel and lead others to Jesus Christ. From generation to generation, the Holy Spirit has continued to move, transform lives, empower believers, and draw hearts to Christ. Pentecost reminds us that the Church was never meant to operate without the power, presence, and advocacy of the Holy Spirit.
